Day 14 of Distance Learning:

Kia Ora Everyone!

Can you believe that we are only on day 14 of home distance learning for Term 2!? With all that the Room 19 students have been sharing it feels like longer.....and well it is considered Week 4.....

With that is mind, here is what Mrs Futcher got up to today.... Our Tuesday Big Book Dragons, Dragons, Dragons activity from the Meet Up Chat this morning was to draw and retell a page from the big book. I chose the last page where the Dragon's fire up the BBQ with sausages for their new human friends:

I cannot wait to see what you have chosen and how you put it all together!!

Here are some of our super learners for today:

Emily has been working hard on her stories, lighthouse model, and Mathematics activities:

Noor has been working on his dragon, Mathematics, story writing, Matific and MOE Home Learning Pack:

Sophia has been working on her Dragon poster, Mathematics, Story writing and Literacy including blends:

Dylan W has been working on his biking skills, puzzles, spelling, writing and MOE Home Learning Pack:

Mahathi has been working on her Lighthouse drawing and model, Literacy stories and blends and Mathematics:

Shriya has been working on her Literacy and Mathematics activities:

Phenomenal job Emily, Noor, Sophia, Dylan W, Mahathi and Shriya. Everyday you progress and send it such great quality of work. Your dedication, persistence and effort is all appreciated, and parents you are doing an amazing job too. Mrs Futcher is very proud of you all :)

Maddison and I (Mrs Futcher) decided to create our own Light House drawings also:

Mrs Futcher's Lighthouse Drawing

No matter what you got up to today, I hope it was fun and interesting. I hope you had lots of discussions with your family and thought in divergent and critical ways, utilising your wonderful imaginations! I know this time is a difficult and challenging one for us, but you are all doing so well, keep up the great work, and hopefully things will go back to normal soon.

Until then, take care of yourselves and your family. Be safe and have fun. Sending virtual hugs to you and your family, from me (Mrs Futcher) and my family.
